VACANCY: CLASS 2 DRIVERS X 2
DUTY STATION: ZAKA RURAL DISTRICT COUNCIL JERERA
GRADE: 5
Duties and Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Driving council vehicles (transport goods, staff, equipment)
• Routine vehicle checks and defect reporting
•Maintaining vehicle log books and mileage records
• Ensuring roadworthiness (VID regulations)
• Performing minor running repairs
• Assist in operating road equipment
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES
• Minimum of 5"O" Levels including English
• Aged between 30-45
• Valid class 2 driver's license and defensive license
• Minimum 2 years accident-free driving
• Local Government and authority experience an added advantage
• Police clearance is a MUST
• Knowledge of maintenance and road safety regulations
• Knowledge of operating road equipment/grader, TB, Tipper an added advantage
• Ability to ride a motorbike an added advantage
• Provide own accommodation
