Job Description

To lead our teams on projects in the Civil/ Structural engineering sector. The teams will include engineers, quantity surveyors, and any other technical staff. This role requires strategic oversight, technical leadership, and strong supervisory capabilities to ensure successful project delivery across all disciplines. Incumbent must have solid site and project-based experience and experience managing teams across diverse locations concurrently.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project management strategies and processes
• Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team of engineers and quantity surveyors
• Ensure effective coordination between engineering and cost management functions
• Conduct project reviews and assessments, identifying areas for improvement
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
• Provide mentorship and performance management for team members
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal departments
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks

Qualifications and Experience

Experience Level:
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Post-graduate qualification in construction management would be an added advantage
• 10 years in project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Experience managing multidisciplinary teams is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple high-value projects
• Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are desirable
Requirements:
• Strong technical knowledge of project and cost management principles
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
