A Tier 1 Bureau De Change, licensed by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, specializing in both outbound and inbound international diaspora remittances through established global partners such as MoneyGram, Ria, Western Union, WorldRemit, Mama Money, and Send Home, is seeking to recruit a dynamic Business Development Officer to push MTA(remittances) sales.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Drive the growth of Money Transfer Agent (MTA) sales, both inbound and outbound.
• Ensure adequate funding of branches and sub-agents in collaboration with Operations and Compliance teams.
• Identify, onboard, and actively engage sub-agents to expand the network.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sub-agents and branch teams.
• Promote and grow digital platforms supporting MTA services.
• Address and resolve customer queries related to MTA services in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure availability and effective distribution of marketing materials across branches and sub-agents.
• Develop and implement MTA business strategies to drive performance and growth.
• Facilitate training and onboarding for new agents to ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensure full compliance with Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) MTA regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
• Commercial degree
• Sales background is an added advantage
• Experience in managing Money Transfer service (inbound and outbound)
• Ability to travel
• Driver’s licence
