BLOOD DONOR COORDINATOR

REPORTING TO
TEAM LEADER - BLOOD DONOR COORDINATORS

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Opening new blood donor collection sites.
2. Conducting risk assessment of blood collection sites.

3. Compiling periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually or as needed) reports of blood donation activities
4. Monitoring daily blood bank statements for planning and scheduling of blood donation activities.

Conducting media engagements

Coordinating blood donor events and relevant stakeholders
7. Providing blood donor feedback and market intelligence information for decision making.
8. Capacitating Peer Promoters and Pledge 25 Office bearers.
9. Planning weekly blood collection site booking schedules.

10. Physical booking of blood collection sites for blood collection.

11. Recruiting blood donors.

12. Giving motivational talks to potential and repeat blood donors.

13. Distributing campaign materials and posters to potential blood donors.

14. Engaging and retaining contact persons.

15. Facilitating blood donors' access to donation facilities.

Qualifications and Experience

Key Result Areas
Person Specification
1. Degree / Diploma in Social Sciences/ Marketing/Communications.
2. Five ordinary level passes including English language and any vernacular language.
3. Outgoing but mature personality with excellent communication skills.
4. Clean Class 4 Driver's license.
5. Have at least one -year experience in a similar role.
