The University of Zimbabwe is inviting suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the following position that has arisen at National Transtech Solutions Private Limited.

ASSISTANT PLANT OPERATOR (2 POSTS)
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate must be able to:
* Operate plant machinery as directed by the Plant Supervisor.
* Monitor equipment and production processes to support efficient plant operations.
* Report operational issues to the Plant Supervisor.
* Support functions of production targets, raw materials handling, routine maintenance, and housekeeping.
* Maintain safety and quality standards.
* Do any other duties as directed by the Plant Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
The position requires an individual with:
* A minimum of 5 ‘O’ Level passes including Maths and English.
* A National Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering, or a related field.
* Basic computer literacy and ability to use production-related systems.
* A minimum of two (2) years relevant working experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
