Administrative Assistant Volunteer -Waterfalls*1

SOS Children's Villages Association of Zimbabwe is a member of SOS International - a worldwide children's social welfare organisation, providing vulnerable children without homes with a family home and educational opportunities as well as strengthening families to reduce poverty.

The SOS Group of schools is looking for an energetic and organized individual to take up this position.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Responsibilities and Key Result Areas will include;

• Organize meetings
• Take minutes during meetings.
• Receive mail for the office and hand to respective recipients
• Order and receive stationery into stock
• Disburse and maintain stationery register.
• Type correspondence
• File documents
• Manage all Personnel Files
• Receive donations, supplies and receipt them accordingly
• Manage Petty cash, receive and disburse
• Assist in the preparation of invoices, requisitions, and purchase orders
• Process and track income and expenditure, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
• Reconcile basic financial records and assist the finance department/officer with data entry into accounting software

Qualifications and Experience

The Ideal Candidate should have;
• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or Accounting qualification
• A minimum of one year experience in an administrative or customer services position
• Demonstrable commitment to working with children and youth & knowledge in child rights
• Holder of clean Class Four Drivers Licence
• Fluent in English and at least one local language
