Job Description

The Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC) is seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following position -
Accounts Clerk
Location: Head Office

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for performing daily accounting and financial tasks, maintaining accurate records, reconciling transactions, preparing journals, and supporting the department in its financial and administrative functions.

Qualifications and Experience

Person Specification
• Possession of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;
• A professional qualification such as CIS, CIMA and ACCA is an added advantage;
• Have at least 2 years' experience in accounting;
• Have knowledge of Pastel;
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial controls;
• Must have demonstratable understanding of the role and importance of upholding professional ethics and
• Must possess excellent conceptual, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
