Position: Accountant
Reporting to: General Secretary

Qualifications and Experience

1. Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Any other accounting professional qualification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in accounting or finance.
• Proven track record in financial management, budgeting, and statutory
compliance.
• Experience in administration of corporate services, procurement, and HR
support functions including payroll management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-stakeholder environments (e.g. public
and private sector).
• Membership to a recognised professional accounting body.
• Prior exposure to National Employment Councils is desirable.
2. Knowledge
• Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and
local statutory requirements.
• Knowledge of NEC governance, procurement regulations, general office
administration and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with labour relations and employment council structures.
• Proficiency in financial systems, Computerisation, Automation, and MS Office
Suite.
